Earl L. Raymond born on Sept. 27th. 1936 from Troy, NY passed away peacefully with his family by his bedside at his home on Jan 11th. 2022 at the age of 85. Earl was one of four children to Doris Machia and Rodolph Raymond from Highgate Center VT.  Earl is survived by brothers Al and Ron Raymond, sister Donna Martin. Three sons James and Craig Raymond and  (stepson) Kenneth Gardner. Earl was blessed to have seven grandchildren and nine Great grandchildren. After High School, Earl enlisted in the U.S. Army at the age of 19. While in the Army he served more than 22 years as a missile inspector for the Safeguard Missile System. Also, as a Missile Inspector. Earl worked at Lockheed for more than 20 years. In 1997 Earl and his late wife of 42 years Deloris Raymond relocated to Florida to finish his last years with Lockheed.

Earl’s hobbies were golfing, bicycling, cross country skiing, nature treks and camping in their Motorhome. While living in Washington State, Earl did multiple (STP’s) Seattle to Portland bicycle rides over the years, completing them in one day. Which was a big accomplishment for Earl. During retirement Earl and Dee loved to visit with their children and grandchildren while touring the country in the motorhome from the east coast to the west coast.

Earl will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife at the Cape Canaveral National Cemetery. Earl will be deeply missed by his family and friends, and all who knew him. May Angels lift you high and give you new life of heartfelt love.
