James Richard Brady of Titusville, FL, passed away on July 9, 2019 at his home by his daughters’ side. He was born on January 6, 1930 in Taunton, MA and was the oldest of five (Donald Brady, Patricia Bissonette, Jerry Brady, Mary Arbreu). In 1954, he married Marjorie Tromanhauser, and together they had two children, Joy and Laura. He served as a member of the United States Air Force as a mechanical instructor trainer specialist stationed at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, from June 1951 through June 1955. Richard worked as a retail salesman at Sears, a short time for Publix, and always stayed busy with family in Massachusetts. Richard was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Titusville Moose Lodge. He was an avid fisherman, a great pool player, enjoyed cooking and baking, and spending the summers in Cape Cod with his family. He was a New England Patriot fanatic and almost never missed watching a game! He had a wonderful sense of humor and always made people laugh. He will be greatly missed. Richard was preceaded in death by his father, James Brady; mother Dorothy Kingsbury Brady; sister, Patricia Bissonette and brother, Donald Brady. Richard is survived by his daughters, Laura Brady and Joy Smith (Danny), five grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. Arrangements will be made by Beckman Williamson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 14, 2019 at 1:30pm at Beckman Williamson Funeral Home, 5400 Village Drive, Rockledge, FL 32955.
