At Beckman - Williamson Funeral Home
we offer many choices for conducting Funeral Services. We have
prepared this page to help you understand what choices you have
in making funeral plans for a traditional type of funeral. The
following is information about a traditional funeral, one that
involves placing the deceased in a casket and having a burial
in a cemetery or internment in a mausoleum.
This can be for one or two days or just prior to
the funeral service. Having visitation gives family and friends
an opportunity to express their condolences and work through their
grief. Photographs and memorabilia can be displayed to pay tribute
to the life of the deceased, making the visitation and funeral
more personal.
The funeral service can be held at the funeral
home or in your church or synagogue. Beckman -
Williamson Funeral Home serves people of all faiths, working
closely with the clergy to make certain that the service is meaningful.
Some families choose to have a simple graveside
service as opposed to the traditional funeral service in a church,
synagogue, or funeral home.
